The analyses are based on the German Socio\u2013Economic Panel (GSOEP). We estimate fixed\u2013effects regressions of a measure of caregivers\u2019 mental health (SF\u201312) on hours of informal caregiving, taking into account the relationships between the caregiver and the person being cared for.
